Heads, Hearts and Hands, are what most of us are born with, to play our parts as Care-takers for Planet Earth and to learn and perfect skills which go to the evolution of  our Souls, for carrying over into other lives and experiences.

Our Heads are used for intellectual understandings and strategies
Our Hearts for Empathy and Compassion
Our Hands are for the doing part of the equation.

If we fail to expand our intellectual capabilities, or cloud them with drugs, alcohol or any addiction that concentrates the mind into a narrow focus, we cripple our sensibilities and waste a lifetime.
If we close our Hearts to the suffering and/or situations of others, fail to act in a compassionate manner, not to fellow humans alone, but to all of Earths inhabitants, we waste a lifetime, and enable pain and suffering to linger longer on Planet Earth.
If we decide on a path of not lending our hands to creative activities, or tending to the animals and plants we share this planet with, either through laziness or by the act of voluntarily disabling our hands As, sad to say, so many have been persuaded to do, the fashion of long coloured, highly ornate nails, false or otherwise has prohibited many of our youth from taking up musical instruments or working with plants and animals. Nails such as these only appear to be used as display, and to tap away at Smart phones and lap tops. That said, I also see that the nails themselves are an artwork and very beautiful. It is unfortunate that so many budding instrumentalists have chosen Decorative Nails over the art and pleasure of learning an instrument.
Might a life of learning be wasted, by such a decision?
Perhaps these beautiful nails could be kept for special occasions, and all of our hands liberated to do the work they were created to perform?
